Summary
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist is the kind of player that helps you win, from day one he'll come in as a leader and work his tail off on and off the court. His energy is infectious and he'll make winning plays throughout the game. That is what Kidd-Gilchrist is at this point. What he isn't is a number 1 scorer. He'll score in transition, slash to the hoop, and make plays off of offensive rebounds, but you can't just give him the ball when you need a basket. Once he improves his handle and his jump shot, then he can be that type of player. Kidd-Gilchrist is best suited to a team like Cleveland or Sacramento that has a top scorer, as apposed to say Charlotte. All in all though, Kidd-Gilchrist isn't a player you'll ever be disappointed with because of all he brings to the table and at worst he'll be a similar player to Gerald Wallace, but the upside is there to be a Scottie Pippen type player if everything goes right.
